Need advice for pain meds..

Anyone can give me some advice about non-narcotic pain meds?

I get frequent migranes, and I recently just had a hysterectomy.  Suffering terrible pain in my legs and back as well.

 I have been on Tylenol #3 for awhile, but can't take them anymore because I'm suffering a terrible alergic reaction now.  Also have tried pergacet as well.   Also tried Ultram but can't take that either.

Anyone can advise what has worked for them?

I have regular migraines.  Almost everyday.  I take RX---Imitrex, and RX---Relpax.  They are pretty expensive though.  But with a migraine, it's worth every penny.  I also take RX---Depakote which is suppose to help prevent them or lessen the intensity of them.  I would definitely check with the Doctor.  Sounds like you have an allergic reaction to the Codeine.

Try IPUBROFIN -- PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH , Vicodin is also another that works very well  I hate taking meds as well but I i will agee to the above 2.

Sep. 7, 2007 at 9:57 PM I don't suffer from migraines so I don't know if it'll help, but I rely on Aleve for a lot of aches and pains - might want to give it a try - good luck.
