dog day

I'm sad, very sad--though I knew it was coming, it's still hard to believe we've said goodbye to our beautiful dog, Kiku, after almost 14 years. I'm inarticulate with this particular grief, so I thought I'd just post a few pictures of our lovely pup, loyal, sweet, and dedicated until the end. Hope you're playing in doggie heaven, sweet girl!

Sep. 8, 2007 at 8:29 PM I'm sorry for your loss of a beloved pet. I, too, have experienced this loss. For my family and I, it was like losing a child, a sister and brother. My kids still cry over Max and Sassy's deaths as if they were just yesterday. They were and still are in many ways a big part of our family. Your Kiku was gorgeous!!
