1) Anniversary of 9/11 on Tuesday.

2) Nukes "accidently" flown over several states last week as reason for all fighters and bombers in the US to be grounded on Thursday for review of procedures. All of this confirmed by the military and broadcasted in the news. Message to the world, "We'll be vulnerable on the 14th."

3) Barksdale AFB has been used as a staging area for attacks in the Middle East (Gulf War). The nukes may have been moved in preparation for a strike on Iran. It could also be a response to Putin's recent military actions (reinstatement of long-range bomber patrols).

4) A few days ago, Osama bin Laden releases first video appearance in 3 years. Another new bin Laden video to be released soon.

5) CIA director makes unusual appearance warning risk of attack.

7) September is traditionally the worst month for the markets.

Well, damn.  Just put on your "The world is ending" sandwich board and ring a bell in the streets.  :-P

I have a good list for September:

1.  I got to go to Myrtle Beach for the first time with my husband and children last week.  The weather was awesome and it was not crowded at all.

2.  Marcos got accepted into the pre-K program and gets to go to school.

3.  The Children's Place had a lot of clothes on sale for $0.99 each today.  I got a whole bag full for $12.
