Jesse is Officially Weaned. :(

He no longer has an interest in breast feeding, which really sucks for me because I thought it would last longer. Oh well, we went exactly one year and 4 weeks. A good run.

He didn't BF at all yesterday, and my boobs are sooooo sore! Yesterday he ate what we ate for lunch and dinner (chicken, peas, spaghetti, and crescents).

I have to take the nursing ticker out of my signature now. :(

 

AWW!!! My baby is growing up!!! Does anyone know how to stop it?

Sep. 17, 2007 at 8:54 AM I wish! My oldest just started K! I just want to keep her in a bubble forever. No one homeschools here & I'm kind of wishing I did. I can't shelter her forever. Excellent job w/ the BF! I know when it ends it's bittersweet. Give yourself a big pat on the back!

I got with my boys where they were only nursing in the morning and at night, then just at night, so I didn't have the sore breasts, I'm sorry you did. I know what it was like in the beginning when they din't nurse a lot though, and that hurt like HECK!

Sep. 17, 2007 at 11:36 AM I only nursed once a day for the past few months, but for some reason.. after only one day of NOT feeding him.. I'm really engorged! I can hardly move!
