Need someone to talk to.

Looking for other moms in the area who would be interested in making friends and someone to talk to. My family and me just moved up here last May and still we know no one. My husband works all the time and I am a stay-at-home mom and just need someone to talk to. My husband is my only best friend and he works 11-8 during the day, so I always end up waiting till he gets home to talk to anybody. Don't really have any other friends, they all turned into assholes and my only other gf lives in VA and she is about to be a new mother in April. So, please anyone wanna chat or hang out?

Feb. 8, 2007 at 11:24 AM I know exactly what you mean.....my hubby works 16 hours every day (M-F) and he's the only person I have to talk too.  I have been in this same area for 11 years and find it very hard to find really good people.  I thought that once my daughter started school, now she's in the 6th grade, that it would be easy to find other moms....but it's just as hard.  Everyone already has their group of friends...just like high school.  If you want to chat, I'm here.
