Trigeminal Nueralgia

Around 3am Wed the 19th I started to have a pain on the right side of the face that kind of felt like a tooth ace. I took 800 mg of IB that didnt help so I took 1000mg of Tylenol that didnt help but the pain kept getting worse. By 2pm I knew it wasnt a tooth ace it was my (TN) acting up but it had switch side which is rare for it to do. My bf took me to the urgent care clinic & they gave me one shot of something that was 65 mg, didnt work so they gave me some other shot that was 75mg that didnt work, so they wanted my bf to take me to the hospital so that they could give me something stronger & they gave me prescription to fill that where Neurontin 300mg, Elavil(Amitriptynive) 25mg & Vicodin 500mg. I didnt want to go to the hospital cause they would have put me on a morphine drip & I dont like feeling like a mummy LOL. So I waited for about a hr & it finally kicked in enough to where if I took 2 Vicodin that would take care of the rest of the pain. We finally got home around 10pm I took a Elavil to help put me to sleep. I had the best sleep that I have had in a long time. When I woke up Thur the 20th I felt like my pain was going to go away till after a hr that I was up I felt it coming back on. I took  1 Vicodin to catch it in time that helped a bit but an hr later I ended up having to take 1 more. So I wasnt able to go to work, so now I have to fill out FMLA papers for cronic illness so I will not get a hit for anytime that I have to take time off for this but I dont get paid for it which sucks. So that is what is going on with me right now.
