Ok, I really could use some ideas. I have no idea what my kids will wear yet. I few have crossed my mind, but I want the costumes to be adorable! I don't sew, and I don't want "scary" costumes (witches/gost, etc). Does anyone have ideas for somewhat inexpensive costumes I could create myself?

my sister was a present one year my mom took a box big enough to go over my sisters head cut out holes for her head and her arms she wore the same color pants and top as the wrapping and tied a bow in her hair. My mom made me a tin girl instead of the tin man she got me a gray dress, I wrapped a pair of boots in tin foil and for the hat a metal oil funnel and she attached tinsel to it for hair and for the heart a she took a ribbon and got a heart and I wore it like a necklace.

My daughter and I are going to be spongebob and patrick. Spongebob should be real easy to make out of a box and I am going to sew patrick. An angel is easy or a ghost or cheerleader. Also Wal-mart has really really cute costumes that are not like the old fashioned ones with those crappy masks. And they are under $20 for the majority of them.
