Feb. 10, 2007 at 10:23 PM I know. People just aren't nice & they don't care. I have 3 kids . I have a baby in a car seat & no one opens the doors for me. I try to open doors for eldery or disabled and other parents who have their hands full like me. Don't let it upset you. I'm a clutz also, but after a while you'll get used to doing it by yourself.

Feb. 10, 2007 at 11:00 PM maybe it depends on where you live. I don't seem to have that problem. people are pretty helpful aroung here. they see a baby and want to help. they even hold the door for my bf(when he has the baby). we do the same in return, kid or no kid.

Feb. 10, 2007 at 11:08 PM When I was 8 months pregnant with Corbin I went to a rank promotion ceremony at Logan's karate school. The place was packed...wall to wall parents. Not one person offered me their seat. The owner's brother did point out a spot on the floor though!Yell

Okay, I do happen to be 'educated' Mommy, so I hope I don't sound like a retard asking this question . . . What am I missing?  How did these comments get geared towards politness?  I'm not being obnoxious, I'm just really curious.

Courtney-Great idea for a group, think I just may have to apply!  Thanks!

Feb. 11, 2007 at 12:00 AM I live in a small town in TX where they still carry your groceries out to your car for you.  It was a little strange at first (I moved here from southern California), but I love the idea of raising my kids here.
