Oh my gosh
I went shopping today for my daughter Mariah while she was at school. I tried to go shopping with her yesterday and she was such a pain in the butt I decided I would just go alone today and buy her clothes. We really do not have the money (charged it) but she is in dire need.
Anyways, after spending hours trying to pick out clothes I thought she would like and that would look good on her, I came home with 3 bags from JCP. As usual I was excited to see how she liked them and how they looked, but knowing Mariah I was also a little on pins and needles.
When Mariah got home from school I got out the clothes and she promptly told me how much she hated all of them! After her arguing, crying, screaming and fighting with me she finally got around to trying them on at my insistence of course. (I did have to go outside and have a Mariah break for a while) She then changed her attitude and was happy and thought they were cute and was grateful.
I know I am not good with overly emotional people, I am sure that is why God gave me Mariah. My drama queen. I am definitely gonna need God's strength getting through the teen years, she is only 11 for goodness sakes. I am not looking forward to her having a menstrual cycle and having all of those hormones making her even more emotional.
