OK i need a few opinions/feedback here.

I was invited to go to Seasame Place with my son for free. Which is a big deal to me, because, I really don't have the money to take him, and I don't drive. Here is the problem:

The girl who offered me the free tickets, her son constantly hits, pinches, pushes my son. I asked her to have the car seats an arms length away from each other so they wouldn't be fighting on the way there and back. She tells me, that she doesn't think her son has a problem, and so what if he hits etc, my son because boys will be boys. I told her that may be but it's a 2 and half hour ride there and I don't want to hear kids crying and fighting that whole time. She doesn't want to move the car seats away, and said to me, "I don't believe you would give up these tickets because you feel my son has a problem."

I told her it wasn't worth the hell trip there, or the ride home, with 2 overtired toddlers fighting.

Another thing I want to add, is 3 times we went out with her and her son, and all 3 times he hit, push or pinched my son.  Which is why I now make sure I meet her in a place that is outside where the kids can run around, and be with just each other.

Am I wrong ? Should I have taken the tickets ?

Sep. 28, 2007 at 1:39 PM thanks you know she was kinda trying to make me feel like I was babying Steven, and it's not that, it's just why put the kids in that type of situation.

Sep. 29, 2007 at 1:08 AM I would have done the same thing. I agree that she was trying to justify it. There is no way that I would have wanted to take that long of a car ride just to hear the 2 bicker.
