Let's start this thing

OK, haven't written in a journal that other people could read before, but I'll try it out.

 As can be seen from my screen name I am a daytime mommy.  I run a family childcare out of my home.   I have everything done for licensing, I am just waiting for the state to finish checking my paperwork, running our background checks and coming out for our final inspection.  I am waiting for that day I get my license!  So are two families.  ;)

 I have been married for a little over 2 years.   We can not have children at this time, although he has 3 teenagers from his previous marriage, they all live with mom.

 I am the leader of my weight loss support group that meets Saturday mornings.   I also just became the music director of my church in May.  I have two great teams now.  It's wonderful.

Today, I went to church and cleaned my house.  I always clean on Sundays, although I am hoping to change that soon.  I want Sundays to go back to be the day of rest that it should be. 

I have a meeting with a potential client tomorrow.  May God have her sign if it is what He wants.

Mar. 31, 2008 at 11:13 AM I hope you do not mind me asking but how may children do you have, what is your cost and exactly how does it benefit you to be licensed. I am thinking about opening a in home daycare but I want to do it right and as professional as possible.
