My son, Caden is 2 yrs old. He's been a terror for quite a while now. Even before he turned 2!
Well, we've recently moved to Oklahoma from Arkansas and he's been gettin into every little thing I believe he can think of to make a mess! One day he had gotten a hold of the (red) toothpaste. He just wanted to brush his teeth is all. RIGHT! He wanted to play in that stuff forever if he could lol! He and my oldest child, Bailey, were upstairs. I thought they were playin in their toyroom together. I was downstairs with the baby and I was just gettin up to go check on them when I hear Bailey a hollerin'. "Mom!!! Caden's got toothpaste EVERYWHERE!!!" and i just freeze where I'm at cuz I totally do not want to see what I'm about to face lol! "MOM! You gotta get him! He's got it on the walls!!" UGHHHH! Now, I really don't wanna go up there now! "MOM!! It's on the floor too!" At this point I just wanna run away and just let their father deal with it when he gets home! But, I just couldn't stand the thought of that RED toothpaste all over the place up there, so I decided to go check it out. It really couldn't be THAT bad. YEAH RIGHT! I'm walkin upstairs and I see this HUGE almost puddle-like area on the top stair. Toothpaste. I'm lookin on the walls as I'm goin up and there it is.....toothpaste. I jump over the puddle-like area to the hallway and, yes, toothpaste on the doors too. UGHHH!
"Hey!" I turn around...and there's the culprit himself. He's standin there with a truck in one hand and a glob of red toothpaste in the other, just a smilin away like he's in heaven! "What are you doing?!" I ask him. He just stands there grinnin and holds up his handful of toothpaste and starts at me to attack. I quickly do some kinda Jet-Li move on him and got him in the bathroom before he smeared it anywhere else...especially not on me lol! I get his bath done and get him into his bedroom. Oh my goodness there's the toothbrush, toothpaste, and , yes, more of it smeared all over the carpet, his tv, his tv stand and the walls. Boy this kid was really at it wasn't he lol?! They couldn't have been up there for more than 15 minutes man!!
A day later: I'm upstairs with my youngest, Tate, gettin him cleaned up from yet another spitup fiasco, when all of a sudden Caden comes runnin up behind me and just plops himself on my back. I reach around to kinda tickle him and I feel that his pants are just soaked. I quickly turn around to see that the rest of his body is soaked as well. I notice these little stringy white things hangin off him and his shirt and I'm thinkin this boy has thrown up and played in it! OMG! I ask "What happened? Did you not feel well?" He answers "Come." and takes my hand to pull me downstairs to show me EXACTLY what had occurred. We strolled round the dining area to come to the kitchen. I look down in pure shock and amazement and see there are EGGS strewn from one end of the kitchen to the other. It's not a very big kitchen at all, but it's EGGS! So, I immediately get paper towels and start tryin to get it cleaned up. If you haven't ever had to clean up egg before....it's not easy. AT ALL! It's gooey and disgusting and doesn't stay in the paper towel either! Then later on my neighbor asks "Did you try the salt thing?" and I'm like what? She said I've never had to try it but I've heard if you pour salt on eggs it kinda gathers it up so it's not so hard to clean up. Where was that info when I needed it, huh? Well, at least I know now! Needless to say I've gone to the store and bought a fridge lock so now my precious little 2 yr old can't get in and out of it anymore!
The following day: He decides to dump his milk. Not just on himself.....NOOOO! He has to share it with the tv, tv stand, rug, carpeted floor, fireplace, couch, and couch pillows. This kid is good, let me tell ya! I was in the laundry room for 5 MINUTES tops. It's not even 10 feet away and he's redone the whole living room in MILK! AGHHH! I'm gonna go crazy with him. If anyone has a straight jacket I could borrow, it would be much appreciated thank you lol!!! If not, I'm just gonna have to get a leash or something! Dangit!
I didn't get a pic of the toothpaste or the milk incident, but I did of the egg. I'm gettin on to him as I'm takin the pic and he's just about to get upset and flop himself on the floor. IN THE EGG no less! At least he already had it on him I guess lol! Am I suppose to treasure these moments or what? I was too upset over the toothpaste and the milk to even want to take a pic of it! I kinda thought the egg thing was funny....TO A POINT...of course!

Comments:
OMG > sounds like you are having a lot fun...lol Don't worry I am having a lot of problems out of my daughter too. She just learned how to open doors, and she is having the time of her life. She can also reach the counter tops. She is getting into everything. Also, going shopping is becoming a real chore what happened to my good little girl. I guess terrible 2's have kicked in early. She will be turning 2 Nov. 30. NO NO NO has become the only word I say...lol She gets into our movies and opens the cases and pulls out the DVD's. I told my mom I didn't think I could handle another one of her...lol
I will say a prayer for all of us... Please lord help us to keep our sanity through these trying times. ![]()
