give me a freaking break

The baby has been sleeping later these days.  Today Scott woke up before him and put in the Robot Chicken DVD.  Of course the baby did wake up pretty soon after that so Scott put him in his little chair in front of the tv.  Riley usually watches whatever show is on Noggin for the 1st few minutes after he wakes up while I clean up the house and get him a bottle.  So today he was in the chair, I was going around the house cleaning, and Scott started cleaning up too.  The only time Scott cleans is if he sees me doing it.  Of course he usually starts when I already have mostly everything done so I tell him to just get out of my way.  He never just cleans up on his own so when he puts a dish in the sink he feels like he should be getting a parade.

Anyway so he put the baby in front of the tv while Robot Chicken was on.  If you've never seen that show some of the sketches are very naughty!  It's all done with puppets and claymation so it LOOKS like a kid's show, but it's not.  Scott thinks since Riley is only 7 months old it's okay for him to see this show.  I went into the living room and Riley looks at me like "What is this Mom?"  I say "I know, Daddy didn't put on your show" and I turn off the DVD.  Scott says "I was watching that".  Well, you were in the kitchen....how are you watching a DVD when you're not in the room with the TV?  I say "You really want our baby to be watching Robot Chicken?"  He storms into the bathroom and I hear the shower go on. 

He took a shower, printed something out from the computer, and left.  As he was walking out the door I say "Are you leaving?" because he didn't say a word to me.  He just says "See you later!" and left.  Didn't even bother to lock the door after him.

I know he is stressed over money all the time.  Guess what Scott, you have a kid now, you have to make money to support him so it's time to DEAL WITH IT.  Instead of talking to me about how stressed he is, he does shit like this like walk out of the house for a day w/out saying anything to me.  How are we supposed to have a relationship when he doesn't even talk to me half the time?

Oct. 1, 2007 at 3:00 PM Gurl, this probably isn't what you were looking for to hear, but if you want a man who will talk to you.... Get a gay friend!  i think it is a typical guy thing to have problems expressing feelings and talking about things, that don't revolve around sports, cars, or boobs.
