So about a week ago I found out that I am pregnant again with my second child. My son now is currently 5 months old and when the new baby is born he will have just turned a year old! I'm very nervous about this, didn't think I would have my children this close together! Our plan was a least 2 years apart...ha-ha...guess that didn't work out!  I'm very excited to have them this close cause at least they will be good friends, but I'm just very nervous having them so close together!! I don't want my oldest to become very jealous because the new baby will need a lot more attention. I don't want him to feel neglected because i'm spending more time with another baby. I've just never seen kids this close together, all of my brothers kids are at least 2 years apart, so I don't really know what to expect!!

Oct. 2, 2007 at 11:11 AM Dont be scared. you will make it I swear. I have a 17 mo. old and a 3 1/2 mo. old. I'm not saying you won't go without sleep or you won't feel like running away sometimes but i promise you'll be ok. I can do it and i'm only 20.

Oct. 10, 2007 at 4:39 PM two little ones in diapers at the same time! i think its good to have kids close in age, so they will get along better and be in the same "fads" at about the same time. however, i need to wait to have another one! i had PPD with my first, and i'm still trying to get completely better, and i dont want to go through that again. plus i think financially it would be difficult for us to have 2 kids right now... so i'd better wait. although i wouldn't complain TOO much if i just so happened to get pregnant... lol. congrats anyway! how very exciting!
