I wanna go back to school so bad I can taste it. I've been searching for the perfect program or degree but have yet to find it. Mainly because i have two loves.

Writing is my passion and I want to focus on fiction, poetry and screenwriting but most of the schools only offer Bachelors in English and offer classes like British Literature and such but not close to what I want to learn. I can see myself signing up in these classes only to find it doesn't help me with my craft and losing interest. When I did find a program it is too far away. The commute would kill me itself especially since I work full-time and wouldn't be able to go until after work or on the weekends. So I say that's out of the question.

The other love is computer technology.  I already have an Associates of Applied Science in Information TEchnology and I got this from Kaplan University where I took all my courses online. This was all right up until I realized I didn't have any hands on work and just did book work. So i had no way of proving to a company that I knew what I was doing as far as Networking, computer troubleshooting and such.  I did find out however that I love Database Administration/management. But again not may schools offter just this major. So I'm stuck with an entire Bachelors covering Computer (the broad range such as Internet, Networking, Programming, some Database, Website Design)

So this is my dilemna

  • Should I go?
  • Shouldn't I go?
  • Should I just attend a few creative wriitng programs?
  • Should I just take a few database classes?
  • Should I continue from my Associates in Infomation Technology?
  • Should I take Interdisciplinary so I can pick and choose my own path?
  • Should I put it off for a few more years?

I just needed to get that out. I wanna go to school >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Every day the choice bothers me so much. I need to feed this desire and soon or I'm going to explode.
