Journal Post

I have been reading a lot of posts lately about parents choosing not to vaccinate their children? Me personally I am for vaccination i think the benefits outweigh the risks. Even though I'm not so sure what the risks of vaccinating a child could be! Does anyone have any idea y some parents choose not to vaccinate their children. i woudl like to learn more about that topic. Also don't you have to have all the vaccines on your kids to put them in school? what do parents that choose not to vaccinate do about school ? How do they bypass this?

i'm w/ you. i never saw anything too wrong w/ it. i've heard that occasonally bad things may happen, but not enough to start this much chaos. i think i'm gonna go ahead n do the vaccines. if it were that bad n that common, wouldn't there be a vaccine "recall" kinda thing? lol.

yeah that's what I'm thinking! I think the pros outweigh the cons. I'm sure as w/ anything there is risks involved but I had my daughter immuninized ( hope I spelled right) and she never really showed any fever or anything..... I just wonder why there is so many ppl now againts it.

Would you really like info on it? Honestly, it was with a LOT of studying that has made me decide the risks outweigh the benefits exponentially. We're currently just delaying, but I'm uncertain as to whether we will actually vaccinate when she turns 2 years old like we were planning. None of the vaccines seem worth it. As for vaccinating during infancy... over a thousand babies die from the DTaP vaccine alone (CDC VAERS report) every year--that's not a risk I'm willing to take. When Japan changed the age for vaccines to start from birth to two years, their SIDS rate disappeared. They went from #17 in the world to #1. That's not a coincidence to me. Also, other countries feel Americans severely over-vaccinate our kids. If you'd like info, though, feel free to message me and I'll link you to my favorite (least-biased) sites and if you have specific vaccines you'd like to know my thoughts on, let me know and I'll give them to you. Otherwise, I'm just assuming you want to know you're still in the majority ^_^ Don't worry, you are!
