Well let me just say that the last few weeks of September has in a nice way sucked.  It all started with my 8 month old getting a very high temp of 103 and a trip to the ER. They check him out and is fine, some motrin and a few hours later and a happy baby. The next morning and $75 broker my baby has  Pink eye.  It wouldnt have been so bad but putting drops in a  Infants eyes is quite a task.  Especially if your baby is the type who "Hates" getting his face wiped.  It was a squirming screamfest.  Luckily it only lasted  2 days but behold 2 days later mommy gets it for the first time.  I was not so fortunate. Mine lasted 8 days and it was really bad. Used drops, creams and prayed to the holy ghost not to pass it to any one else and try and prevent it from spreading to my other eye.  Just when I was out of the clear and feeling better my 5 yr old gets it, my baby has a sinus cold now and yep so does mommy.  So 3 crabby people under 1 roof and a very patient teenager and husband covering their mouths wherever we go. LOL

I finally am starting to feel a little better and BAM.  Baby has explosive diarrhea for the weekend. (my anniversary) Take him to the doctor and they prescribe Amoxycillan.  I am no dr but how is that going to help him???  Antibiotics do not prevent diarrhea.  turns out it was his formula...go figure.  Also while I was at the dr she scolds me and says I am not feeding my baby  enough.  He lost 2 lbs.  When she told me that I said their is no way he lost 2 lbs. Weigh him again.  sure enough he actually gained not lost so I was a little peaved of the accusation.

turns out he is also allergic to Mosquitos. lovely. Anyone who lives in South texas knows what a hassle that will be in the future.  So 3 weekends in a row I ended up forking out money for medicines, disinfectants and what ever else was needed to prevent the spread of germs.  I really hope October brings me a smile.  But like they say....Motherhood is a FT job.
