I would tell people to check out the Salmon River, then advise that they take the day to drive the scenic St. Lawrence Seaway to Alex Bay.  Once in Alex Bay (providing it were summer) I would say to hop on the Boldt Castle Boat tour then shop for souvenirs in the villiage.

Dec. 17, 2006 at 1:52 PM tell 'em to wait for Pirate's Week... that's the best time to visit the Bay!  water wars, pirate's everywhere, battle between the pirates and the townspeople, countless boats from all over come to join in the fun!!  bring your water cannons and prepare to get soaked!
