Feeling alittle confused

I had a fight with my boyfriend last night and it got alittle out of hand, he went to far (not for the first time) and like the other times he's acting like it was my fault.  Really doesnt matter whos fault it is he has no right putting his hands on me!  He says he's gonna go back to ca where he is from and i'm not sure exactly how i feel about it, do i want him to go or stay? I guess what ever happens will be for the best . Or will it!
