Sometimes life is just not fair!!!!

So I just want to start off by saying since I went back to work I rarely have time to take a shower let alone get on the computer. Sorry to all of you!!  Here is a run down on what been going on.....

Ethan my oldest now has glasses. The school screened him and noticed that he had poor vision in his right eye.  Well he has a lazy eye, but we caught it early enough that it should correct itself with help of glasses and patches.  Yeah pretty hard to keep a patch on a five year olds face.  We also started him on Aderrall and it has done wonders for his being able to concentrate in school.  That is one of the plus sides to my week.

The very downside is my 3 month old nephew passed away on the 5th of Oct.  It was the most aweful thing I think the whole family had to go through.  He was just 3 months olds damnit, where is the fairness in that situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He died of S.I.D.S.  I am going to miss him, but what really upset me is I never really got to know him.  I'm always working and when I drop my kids off at the sitters(my hubby's other sister) he was always sound asleep, like an angel..  Ya know I'd say to myself there is plenty of time to visit them at home, to get to hold him and snuggle and be an awesome aunt, then something like this happens.  But hes got lots of angels in the sky to help care for him so that brings me some comfort.  It just brakes my heart to see his mom and dad just trying to get through the days and there is nothing I can do to make the pain go away.  Death is a shitty thing, especially when it happens to a child.  No parenet should ever have to bury thier child.  But life goes on, it is what it is, and we must keep moving for the sake of ourselves and our family's.

Nov. 26, 2007 at 2:06 AM aww..so sorry for your loss.  it has to be rough to lose a family member that young..my baby is 4 months and i always worry...hell i still worry about my 18 month old!! they always say it happens to someone else..until it happens to you!
