Can it ever be something a little more interesting? Well I feel like typing and this theme has at least given me that.

So I will put my diet aside for now and pick the foods I love.

1. RICE!One thing is for sure there is NOT a single local place in Hawaii that doesn't serve rice. I buy no less than a 20 lbs of rice. And we pretty much each rice with everything. I feel so awkward eating any sort of meat, no matter how it's cook, without rice. It's not that lame Uncle Ben's rice either. It's not Jasmine rice it  absolutely positively has to be Calrose rice. mmmmm. But diet calls for less carbs so I'm lucky to eat rice every few weeks.

2. Saimin.I don't care what brand of s, hell I don't care if it's Cup of Noodles. It's easy to make, really fills you up and you can eat it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Throw some boiled eggs, crab cakes, won-ton, spam and green onions you are set to go. Plus if you are too lazy to cook it you can eat it straight out of the bag too.

3. Spaghetti.I love spaghetti. Especially with angel hair noodles. I can't remember what brand is the sauce I like, but throw some fresh mushrooms and black olives in it, OOHHHH so good. Then top it off with some oregano and melted mozzarella cheese. How could you ever go wrong!?!

4. Veggiescarrots, broccoli, corn, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, almost any veggies and some ranch or caesar dressing and you are in heaven. My son and I love eating raw veggies, minus the corn, with dressing. Hey it's better than chips and dip.

5. Cookie Dough. You can NEVER go wrong with cookie dough. You can it straight like that. You can add it to ice cream. Best yet, you can cook it with the little ones. My son loves making cookies. It's the only cooking he likes doing anyways.

Man, this theme has made me pretty damn hungry. I hate diets.
