We are a older couple of an 1 year old and need simple quick meals  to feed her.  My husband has to work all day  and at the end of the day picks up our daughter from daycare and is in need of supper at this time and will be cranky and make it difficult to make a meal, So if anyone can help with ideas.  we already eat ravoli spaghetti o's grilled cheese sandwich  chicken nuggets  peanutbutter sandwich and macaroni and cheese, trying to come up with other ideas   Oh  she will eat her vegetables also.  I hope this makes sense. thank you   sue

Oct. 16, 2007 at 7:51 AM I like to make meals one day every other week that I can freeze.  For example this week I made two different stir frys, stewmeat with rice, garlic chicken, pot roast, and stuffed pepper.  It is all in the freezer and I will just heat something at dinner time.  It takes the stress out of the evening.  If my daughter doesn't like what we are having, I let her eat just the veggies or a bowl of cereal.

Of course don't forget the apple sauce..... buttered noodles, vianna sausages cut into little bites, same with hot dogs, (almost a dice but not that small) there's also your chicken alfredo, befor you add the meat to it set aside a bowl for her and then shred/dice the chicken up for her really fine then add the rest to your guys.. and you can also go to www.recipies.com  and get some cool ideas... just keep in mind you have to make it small bites for her.. She's at the age where you can give her almost anything. Just watch the spices and things that would be hard on her stomach..Like really fatty meat or greasy foods. Hope that I helped.. the web is really cool look at all the options to see what fits your interest...

Oct. 16, 2007 at 9:35 AM I made some easy pasta last night. Cook chicken with onions and spices, cook pasta(any type), and mix everything with cream of mushroom soup & milk, spread cheese on top and bake until cheese is melted. It came out really good. And you can mix any veggie you want in it, i just put peas in mine. I'm most positive you can make this ahead and freeze. There a group im in thats called Recipe Swap oon here that has a whole list of recipes, you should check it out.
