If you are a Christian and get offended by what others say about Christianity..don't respond to the trash talk.  When people post their thoughts about how Christians are hypocritical, how  we are judgemental, how we think we are better then other..ect, ect.  Don't give in to what they want.  They want to get under your skin, that's the purpose of the post is to try and start a argument.  They are entitled to their opinion..doesn't mean they know what they are talking about.  When someone excepts Jesus into their lives we should have the confident to know what the bible says to be true and not worry what others say.

I see things about Christians all over..bumper stickers, on the Internet and just about everywhere how Christians are just a bunch of hypocrites...well I think those people who say that forget that 'Christians" are human to.  Just because someone says they are a Christian doesn't mean all of a sudden they become perfect and can do no wrong.  We are HUMAN and No human is perfect. We ALL fall short.  Sometimes Christians might feel like they have to defend their faith but when you have the confidence to know what the the truth is then you don't have to be offended by what others say or do.  I think sometimes  Christians get offended because we love God so much and feel like we need to stick up for Him just as you would with anyone you love.

Responding to posts that put Christians down is giving into what they want..they want to get you so heated that you will show how non perfect you are and then they can say see told ya all so.  Let them talk..we have the confidence to know what the bible says to be true.  When you are confident in something , it shouldn't matter what others say.  I think it makes Christians seem unsure of themselves when they get into a heated argument over who is right and who is wrong...let it go and pray that God would help you see them the way He sees them..with LOVE

Very well said.  I just left a group the other day because of something the owner of the group has in her sig.  I won't name the group or the person but I honestly think she is the only one with the guts to put this in her sig.  I will tell you what it said in a sec but I simply did not respond to it because I found it so offensive in what it said that I just wept.  I know Jesus weeps for those who think this way and to actually know that people DO DEFINITLEY think this way is very troubling to my heart and I know it is to others who are truly Christian and want to see everyone come to His kingdom.  It said the following....

I was in the store the other day and this man made me mad.  I felt like slapping him but I looked down at my WWJD? bracelet, set the M***er F***er on fire and sent him to hell because that's what Jesus would do.

This is a graphic that anyone can put up on their myspace or any of the social networking sites.  Obviusly this was very troubling to me and I did feel like I didn't belong in this person's group any longer because they offended my precious Jesus and so they offended me.

It is sad ......I cant imagine how Jesus feels  when people come against Him or tell lies about Him.  It does sadden my heart but we just love them like Jesus does.  He still loves those who come against Him.

This is just SO true!!!

I got caught in the religious debate group and all it did was get me confused, weaken my faith, allow me to absorb and recycle the negativity and did nothing to help the image of Christians. It was really hard to sit back and just listen to people talk about religion and God in the manner that many do. I can't even fathom how God manages to do it with such love, forgiveness and patience.

Some do the very exact thing that they say that they hate. I read one comment by a woman about how she believed in peoples rights and hated when religions tried to force their beliefs... and then in her sig it said how all religions should be banned. I couldn't help but to giggle at the hyprocracy of it.
