can you sub-lease it? You rent it to someone else until the end of your lease. Or you can find someone to lease it getting you out of it.

Read your lease agreement, but some leases will let you get out if you are purchasing a home and you can prove it, which obviously you can.. Just a thought, at least in Florida some leases where written that way.. If not, create an add in craigslist atlanta, and I'm pretty sure someone will sublease from you.. keep in mind, you are still responsible if anything happens... Good Luck!!

Some lease agreements will let you out but you have to pay a "fine", usually it's like an extra months rent plus a bit more. I know for the apartment we live in now we pay $790 a month & if we terminated our lease earlier we would have to give 60 days notice plus pay one month's market value rent which is like $1050.
