My Daughter Sarah, is in her room crying and very frustrated right now. She missed her skating party, I have tried to explain to her its not her fault that they changed the time, but there is nothing calming the child. I hate that she missed out, what can I do to cheer her up? Any ideas????

awwww! Bless her heart!!!!! Mom I guess you are just going to have to take her in the kitchen and watch her bake a cake all by herself with you giving directions or something fotally fun like that.!!! Or let her play beauty shop on your head. Or go outside and make mud pies with her. Something!!!! To help her forget!!! Let her cook dinner for dad.

Besides skating what else does she enjoy alot.
Spend some time with her if she allows you. Try to let her know that you understand how she feels and give her an example of when you were let down about something and how it effect you but how you recovered from it.
