Two weeks ago, the radio station I listen to started a letter writing campaign. Their goal was to get a hand written letter of thanks into the hands of every military personel stationed outside the US for Thanksgiving. I wrote more than 10 letters. My students wrote letters. I convinced a few other teachers at school to write letters. They announced this morning that they are still more than 50,000 letters short. :( Wherever you are, could you take a minute and write a letter to a soldier? It will make you feel good, and it will make the soldier feel great. There are strict guidelines (because of the bulk of the project). The deadline has passed, but they want to meet the goal of sending a letter to EVERY soldier. Please see the guidlines on the website and mail a letter TODAY. I'm going to write more with my students today. It only takes a minute.
Make someone's day.
