Suicide

My brother-in-law took his own life yesterday. He was only 17. No one knows why, why he thought he had no other option, why he felt he couldnt keep on living, why he didnt ask for help. Only God knows the whys, the reasons, the thoughts, the feelings. His family, my family, is devastated. His mom, my husband's mom, is in shock. Last night, his friends came to the house to talk to his mom, and my husband, John. His g/f is the one that found him. She will be ok. We will all get through this, with God's help and love. I just wanted to say....suicide is NEVER the only option you have. It is NEVER the way to go. There is ALWAYS someone who cares. Someone who needs you in their life. God ALWAYS loves you, He is ALWAYS there with you, for you. He will NEVER leave you. I once was in place where I thought the world would be better off without me in it. But that IS NOT TRUE. The taking of a life, ANY life, is never for the greater good. God loves ALL His people, NO MATTER WHAT. We will never understand why this young man chose to end his life. All we can do is pray. So please, pray for my family. Thank you

Oct. 30, 2007 at 1:30 PM and people bitch on here about people/children being medicated, sometimes it can save a life, I'm so sorry, that is tragic, I wish he would have asked for help too, but some people just act up and don't speak up
