Sure Brooklyn cant get any candy, but my stepdaughter can! Well, since there isn't a whole lot of houses around here, we went to some of these mini towns as I call them. Nice neighborhood. We didn't even get though a 1/4 of one and we were done. Cheyanne had fun though. Brooklyn decided she had enough 1/2 way through and went to sleep. :-)
It's amazing to me that these people can afford these nice big houses and not put sidewalks in front. I've had to walk through many $300,000 lawns. Not good on the feet, it was like walking through quicksand.
Oh my goodness. I had one of those mommy moments. These teen girls were running around in skimpy outfits. Jailbait trick-or-treaters as I called them. What were these girls' parents thinking? All my husband can say is, "Why didn't they have costumes like this when I was younger?" I gave him the evil eye. Well for one, girls had more common sense back then than to go running around in nippy weather in skimpy costumes. With all these little ones running around, it showed poor judgement on their part. They're supposed to be role models. I wouldn't allow Brooklyn to wear them.
I guess you can find the least classy people even in classy neighborhoods. Maybe I'm just being prudish. All I know is Brooklyn's not wearing crap like that.
