Okay, so the last few months have been anything but normal. I don't remember if I have posted much about my pregnancy or not, but this has been a "high risk" pregnancy. I have been under much stress related and unrelated to the pregnancy. We found out early in the pregnancy that Baby Kainan wasn't growing the way he should be. He has gone from the 5th to the 12th to now being in the 20th percentile overall average weight gain. I was seeing a specialist in Evansville, and two doctors here in town. Kainan has gained enough weight and grown enough that we no longer need to see the specialist in Evansville. However, he is still small and not growing as he is expected to be. I have a total of 3 doctors appointments a week to measure amniotic fluid and do a Non Stress test. So far, baby is happy and cooperating. I had an induction appointment scheduled today when I went in and I am to be induced the evening of Nov. 15th. I have had so much pain and pressure lately; this pregnancy has been so much different than my last. I am so excited to meet our lil guy!
We have been staying with my mom since we July and anyone who has their own family knows that two families cannot live together. It has been so hard to stay here. There has been a lot of stress on me and Jim. But we know that mom is doing everything she can to help us and we appreciate it, regardless of how my grouchy butt may make it appear.
We are moving to the Pocono's in PA two weeks or so after the baby is born. Jim has already gone up there to start his new job. He loves what he is doing and has taken quite a bit of a pay increase, making things for the future look better. I HATE the idea of Camden changing schools-again, but I feel this will better our family and our future.
I haven't even begun to buy anything for Baby Kainan yet. I haven't really got much room left in storage for it, and it will definitely not fit here at mom's! My sister and a very good friend of mine have decided to throw me a shower, which happens to only be a few days before Kainan will arrive!! I'm hoping that I get to see all of my friends before leaving for PA and that they will all get to meet Kainan before we go!
My brother and his family are coming in for Thanksgiving! Yay! I haven't seen them for approximately 5 years. I am so excited. I can't wait to see everyone.
This fall must have been a good time for change, there seems to be a lot of it going on for us.
