Well today we went to Pensacola for Molly's Endocrinology appointment. They did not have to take any blood since she has already had all labs done that refers to her growth. Thank the Lord because I did not want to go through that and I didn't want Molly to have to either. According to all lab work everything is just fine. They believe the only problem is her activity level (which they informed us is above normal lol) mixed with her fast digestion. They can tell she has faster digestion because of the color of her poop lol. TMI I know, but it is true. The faster your food goes through your intestines, the greener it is due to the bile that is excreted into your food. ANY WHO, since most of your nutrients and calories are absorbed in the intestines, and her's seems to be going through a little quicker than normal, she isn't getting as much from her food as possible.

Next month we go back for a check up PLUS we are going to see a G. I. doctor. He should be able to cast more light onto the whole digestive thing. In the mean time, I have to cut back on her formula to increase her solids. Solids have more calories than formula so hopefully it will help some. It is going to be difficult because Molly is going to have to learn what "hungry" is so that she will eat a larger amount of solid foods instead of formula so much.

On a side note, on our trip back home we were going across the 3-mile bridge in Gulf Breeze when we noticed traffic was slowing down. Halfway across we get behind a lady in a Civic whose car ended up completely stopping on the Bridge. So me and Kris decide to help if we can. She was all by herself and close to tears because she didnt know why her car wouldn't shift into gear. Keep in mind traffic is now HORRIBLE because it is a narrow two lane bridge at 4 pm rush hour and one lane is now completely blocked. SO we decide lets use our car to pull her. We had some towing ropes so Kris blocked the second lane of traffic so I could get in front of the other car. Again I am battling my extreme fear of Bridges and deep water at the same time since i am right next to it lol. We hook the cars up, and Kris is standing to the side watching as I start the car in 2nd gear. And suprising it worked! We were sooo happy. I was afraid for the cars however because they both made a couple horrible sounds when the car pulled to hard. Oh and I kinda got so caught up in pulling her car while she steered we forgot to pick Kris back up and he ended up running a mile and half across the bridge. I really do feel bad about that.Everything turned out good though, her hubby came and got her and all was well.

So that was our day.Thank you all for the prayers and keep praying that everything else comes out so well!

Nov. 5, 2007 at 8:21 PM I am glad to hear that they found nothing serious with Molly. I hope that she takes to the solids well. Who knew it would be bad to have such and active child? LOL!

What a HUGE blessing you were to that lady!!  (Pay it FORWARD)!!  Total fulfillment of Phil 4:13 if you ask me....(being on the bridge and over the water et. all.)
