Well, John had his six-month check up ECHO for Kawasaki Disease. It is not easy to hold down a 20 month old for an ECG, at least for the ECHO he watched television and ate animal crackers. But the doctor couldn't see his aorta clearly, and couldn't tell if it was enlarged. She doesn't want to put John back on aspirin therapy just yet, so we have schedualed an ECHO with sedation for the 27th. Sigh. I hate seeing him scream and cry, and I hate when he is hooked up to the IV, but I know it is for the better. We have to make sure there is no heart damage from the Kawasaki Disease. It's so frustrating that you cannot do anything though.
I'll post updates when we have them.
