My favorite song...

Currently, I've been stuck on "Gravity" by John Mayer - "I'm With the Band" a new song by Little Big Town - "Apologize" by Timbaland - & "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace is awesome..... all different styles of music - LOL!  This has always been my toughest question to answer because I love all kinds of music so my favs are always changing.  I decided to post this because as I was looking at others responses to today's fav song theme & I thought maybe just for fun I could get some help too.  :)

All 4 songs I have posted on my profile on MySpace are originals... I wrote the lyrics, put the guitar chords to it (that's called composition), sing & did a cheesy home recording of them.  Anyhow, I have a song called "I Ain't Broken" in particular.... Last night, my band & I did a pro-recording of it that'll be ready by Friday for me to send in to a songwriting contest sponsored by CMT.  I'm kinda nervous about actually competing in something that I just enjoy doing but would like feedback if anyone has the time to listen to it.  It should be the first song to come up.... http://www.myspace.com/jstevens73

If anyone is curious, I wrote this song while going through a messy divorce & was before I ever met someone else.  My divorce lingered around for about 2yrs before it was final, meaning that it was expensive too.... nearly $6,000 still unpaid atty's fees.  But anyhow, that's where the lyrics come from "Cuz staying would've cost my sanity".  ;)  Let me know whatcha think & I'll probably put up another post once it's actually in the contest & will list that one in the CafeMom Marketplace.
