Parents Hug your children today

Today has been very hard for me.  My dh left for a year to go to Korea, but that is not the saddest part.  While I was dropping my dh off at the airport, a friend of mine laid dying.  He was only in his early 20's, with a young child.  I know him and his mother.  My mom called me to tell me the news and I was so stunned because he was just here.  I just saw him a couple of weeks ago looking healthy and happy.  Now he is dead and I can only look at my son, who is the same age that this young man was when we met him, and pray for God to keep him safe.  So mothers hug your children tonight and tomorrow and every day because we never know when we might wake up to a phone call or the police telling us that they are gone forever.  Hug your children.

Awww! that is so true! I amso sorry for your lose!

As for your dh I can imagine how hard it is to let go! I'll say a prayer for her!
