Well, I'm FINALLY on paper what I've felt I was in my heart my entire life.... An Irish Citizen!! I put in my application over two years ago to apply for naturalization through post nuptual agreement and the paperwork has all gone through and I got my certificate of naturalization Monday!!! They even back dated it to when I originally sent in my paperwork on Nov 8th 2005, so I've actually been an Irish citizen for the past two years..... :P
I'm just so happy that I can honestly say that Ireland is my (adopted) home now! My whole life I've been drawn to Ireland, even from a very young age. I guess there was a reason my parents named me "Tara". Now I can finally wear my "Kiss me I'm Irish" T-shirt I've been saving all this time and really mean it!!!!

I'm so jealous! One of my lifetime goals has always been to visit Ireland. My family is Irish and it's just been a dream of mine to travel to Ireland. I'm hoping to go when the kids are a bit older, that way they will be able to experience and enjoy it as well.
