So two days ago, we were doing the morning routine plus....
I was in the kitchen making some eggs for breakfast, curling K-La's hair for picture day (she brought the curling iron into the kitchen), and coordinating the day's activities with JT. I hear a familiar sound - please remember I have a curling iron wrapped around by daughters hair in one hand and a spatula in the other while looking at my husband and talking.
I turned around and N8n is yanking on the garbage bag. I had to do a double take. Can you picture a three year old (almost 4yo) trying to pull a big black bag full of garbage out of a can that is as tall as his armpits?
What are you doing? I asked with a snicker. "it is all full, so I have to take it out" N8n said in all seriousness. I couldn't believe it...it was just too cute. So I put down the curling iron and spatula so I could show him how to tip the gabage can to pull the bag out.
He pulls the bag out of the can, drags it to the front door, opens the door and sets the bag out on the porch. Then he returns to the kitchen, opens the cabinet under the sink, pulls out a new garbage bag and starts shaking it up and down trying to open it up. I showed him how to separate the top and shake it. Next, he puts it in the can and folds the top of the bag around the top of the can. We all hugged and smiled and laguhed with him. He Was So Proud! (& so are we)
Then, yesterday N8n said "Can you make some pudding?" I said "No, but you can!" He seemed confused. So I got out all the stuff. He poured the mix in the bowl, added some milk and stirred it all up with a whisk. While stirring, he looks at me and says "I'm gonna be a pudding cook when I am big"
AWWWW
