I believe that their is something bigger than us out there somewhere watching over us all. Well that was put to the test last Wed. My hubby of 2 1/2 years was in a horrible accident on Wed. He was on his way home from work around 1:30 PM, For people who live around here he was out by the old pumping station by Eudora. He was waiting for some cars to pass so he could make a left turn toward Lawrence he looked behind him and saw a white pick-up truck speeding up behind him. The next thing he remembered was a man in his driver side window asking if he was ok. His left arm was pinned between the door and the seat, they then used the "jaws of life" to extract him from the car, he was taken to an ambulance and was kept on scene until a helicopter arrived and flew him to KU Med center. When I arrived at the hospital to see him I was told he had a broken arm and some broken ribs and a broken nose. Seeing him like that was the hardest thing I have ever had to see. The next day I went back up and saw him and found out the extent of his injures, A broken upper left arm, 8 broken ribs, and a fractured nose a lot of cuts and scrapes, Also that day My mother in law and I went and saw the car at the tow company (OMG) the fact that he survived is in itself a true miracle. I guess what I am trying to say is thank whomever it is who is watching over us for saving my husbands life and give him a chance to see both of his kids grow up.
