taking him to court

well im getting ready to make a court date so i can get child support and full costody of my son so his dad has to help out a little bit he hasnt even bought formula or daipers or anything in over 2 weeks he is pissing me off so BAD i mean i cant support this baby all by myself and i need him to help. he says he loves him but he isnt helping me out at all and i dont know what else to do so im gonna do what i have to. am i doing the right thing????
