Of course I have a whole list of things that I am thankful for but this post is dedicated to my husband. He is just an amazing man.

He has 2 girls from a previous marriage and is so involved in their lives. I give him so much credit for that. There are just too many cases out there where when the marriage goes sour, the relationship with the children dwindles away. I adore that about him that he is such a strong parent.

We've been together for 10 years. Married for six of those years. We have two amazing children together and he has made my life wonderful.

He works two jobs to support this house here and his girls. He isn't even here that much because he is always working but for now that is what needs to be done. That just makes the time we get together even more special. He is an amazing husband and father.

I could go on for a whole post about things that don't get accomplished around here because when he is here he is tired and just wants to relax but I won't. Not today anyway :)

Today I am thankful for the things that he does do around here. The little things that make me just as happy. Like the following... He knew he would be at work when Jordyn woke up on her birthday, so he did this...A giant note for her on the fridge. She was thrilled!

And then just because, a note by Nathan's bed so when he woke up he would see it.

And most of all why I am thankful for my husband, Eric, is because he (and God) gave me this...

My precious family :)

Nov. 20, 2007 at 5:29 PM You sound very happy.  I know exactly how you feel.  We focus so much on the bad, but we need to remember the good things we have and for me it is my husband and boys at the top of the list.  Lets hope everyone finds what we have in life.
