About the breastfeeding, When I done it with my son for a year and I also bottle feed him equal to brestfeeding time too. When It was time to stop breastfeeding my son, He didn't had any problem. My daugther, the second child, is so attached to my breast. She'll take bottle once a while. I am so nervous about stoping the breastfeed cuz when it her bed time, I would rock her to sleeping or anything else it won't put her sleep then I will just breastfeed her and it made her fall asleep. But the funny thing is that when my husband hold her, she will fall asleep in five minute!! I was like What!!! That ain't fair! I would like to have my breast back that all. But right now it her and I feel like if I stop breastfeeding her and put her on milk when she become one year old she won't take it only my breast.

Feb. 21, 2007 at 11:20 PM At a year just transition her slowly.  Nothing says that at a year she has to be drinking milk.  A slow transition will also be better for you.  Start to introduce the sippy cup with juice or water now, or pump and put your milk in the cup to get her use to it and give it to her to drink with meals.  Skip the bottle at his point.  It will only need to be given up soon also.

I hear you!  My kids never took a bottle and never took a paci either.  I started to introduce the sippie cup at about 9 months, and slowly introduced more solids, and cut out the bed time feedings. It took a couple nights of crying to sleep (heart breakier) but it worked and just a week or so before they were one, they were done.  I am sure you will find a way to make it work.  be strong and stick to it hon.  Good luck
