Not unless there were an emergency that required me to. Not only would I not look, but I would be upset if I found out that someone looked in mine! If someone thought it was ok, would they also look in my dresser drawers, my jewelery box, or my purse?

I believe that people need to respect other people's privacy and looking in the medicine cabinet falls in that category. In fact, the only possible reason I could see for looking would be if that person were injured and wasn't able to answer if you asked them. Just like I would only look in someone's purse if they were injured and I had to find an emergency number to call.

Would you read someone's diary or journal? It falls in the same category in my opinion.

I've never done that. There could be some medication that if I am not sure what it's for, then I might jump to the wrong conclusion. I pretty much think that we all have the basic stuff in there anyway. So by keeping that in mind, it curbs any lapse in judgement. But I have lots of nosey relatives. I only keep stuff that you would find in a first aid kit in the bathroom cabinet. Ya know, stuff that a guest might need in a quick fix. Anything else is in a cabinet outside the bathroom because it gets too humid in there.
Speaking of journals... aren't I reading one now?! Oops!
