I just got to work and since i'm here for 12hrs and nothing is going on...i figure i should write a little post on just whatever i'm thinking.

I just deleted an old journal post i had about where i want to live. I stay true to wanting to live in San Diego. Bobby (boyfriend) got orders to Charleston, SC. I just came from there, to be here with him. oh well, life happens. However, we are trying to find a way for him to stay here. i know a guy off a boat that's out of here that's willing to switch (mutual) with him. He'll go to Charleston and Bobby will go to his boat out of St Pete. The only problem is the guy's command has to approve to let him go and take Bobby in his place. I really dont see it being too big of a problem. However the process takes a couple of months and Bobby's orders are for June so there's not too much time to convince this guy's command. Oh, there's another problem that falls into place. If Bobby switches with this guy, Bobby will only have a year on the boat before he'll be transferred. In the CG, in Bobby's rate (same as mine) you have to have 2 years on a boat to make rank (from a 1st to a chief). He could put in for an extention but someone told me he probably wont get it. And if he goes to Charleston then i have to move out of the house into an apt b/c i wont be able to afford the house by myself. or I could get a roommate (but i dont think that would work out unless they were like never there).

Now if Bobby mutuals with that guy and stays here for that year, our rotation date will be at the same time. Then we could both put in to go to San Diego. I'd go to a land billet and he can go to one of the boats. Then he'd get his sea time to make rank and we'd both be in San Diego. except Bobby doenst want to go to a boat...he wants to go to an air station. what he'd like to do is mutual with that guy and extend on that boat for a year (so he'd have his 2yr sea time) then go to another air station. which i guess that could work...but i'd have to extend my contract here for a year so our rotations would match up again.

another problem with that. He doesnt want me to stay in. HELLO!!! I joined to be independent. what is with guys wanting to control me?! I have to stay in so I can support myself and Aden. I'm not leaving that up to Bobby.

I just want to go to San Diego when my scheduled time here is up. My sister's husband is in the Marines and liked San Diego so he wants to go there next. Next for him is this summer. So my sister would already be living there for a year by the time I came. I just miss being around her. We havent lived near each other in 6-7 years! I'm so tired of not doing the things I want to do b/c of the guy I'm with. That's why i got divorced!

Okay i'm gonna stop here b/c this thing could go on forever....lol♥
