'For Sat: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari'

Hey now! My sudden explosion of creativity has unearthed some long standing and redefined idears that I want to produce. Ramona and I had an email chit chat that reminded us of a joke/concept we came up with in the drive thru of a Wendy's like FOREVER ago as we were coming back from a Wagner piece at the Chandler. Well, amidst the madness and a screenwriting class I am challenging myself to get on paper a short that has been dancing in my mind...then shooting it...then making an entire event that will include not only this short but a connection of other period appropriate yet contemporary entertainment pieces with a splash of cultural specific estilo.

Lengthy? Yes. Difficult? Yes. Worth it? The experience will be and I know the people and have the support so why the hell not?! :D

Anyway, after a battle of trying to choose between GreenCine and NetFlix and getting some advice from the net and from Colin (thank you my dear...), I FINALLY decided to join Netflix so as to research more of my meshed film aesthetic of long time faves and some new ones I haven't seen and in the meantime also enjoy some mainstream movies and get some ca'toons for La Maya. Price isn't too bad either...I went for the 3 @ a time dealio.

So, with this newly bought resource to film edumacation and spirited will to create with knowledge, I am OFF to take notes; rewind; freeze frames and most of all HAVE FUN! WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
