Is your Christmas Tree (or holiday decor) up already?

OMG it is a 1st in my book!

 Our tree was UP and decorated BEFORE Turkey day!  What a joy!

We'd usually wait til 12/9 (hubby's birthday) as it was his family tradition, however I found that I'd often feel a little blue because it was just a couple weeks, the BOOM all over and tree down on New Year's....

 So hubby surprised me and put it up before Turkey day, it's just beautiful AND the icing on the cake?  I actually have presents wrapped and under the tree already.    Even better?  Hubby put Christmas lights up!   Now we just need some SNOW!

I'm humming Christmas tunes and I am IN THE SPIRIT!  What a fabulous season this is going to be and 2008 is going to be just AWESOME I know it!

Nov. 29, 2007 at 4:42 PM My birthday is November 27th, so that is our tradition to put our tree up then. Since our son moved out last year and we were not doing so great, money wise or couple wise, we didn't even put a tree up, how depressing is that! I know that it's not about presents, we were in such a bad place. Well, Praise God we realized what to do and we are going as strong as ever now. We will be married 26 years in April. Anyway, my hubby had to work on my birthday this year so we started putting stuff up last night. I am so excited to finish, and you are so right this is going to be  a great Christmas!!
