My Laynah Turns One Today

My sweet Laynah is 1 today.  My emotions are all over the place.  Happy to see her turn 1.  Happy to see her grow and learn. Just sad because I already miss the newborn, the baby I held for hours and covered with kisses. The baby that reminded me, as my other 2 did, that the world isn't so bad with her in it.  Of course, I still cover her with kisses, she is in my arms 75% of the time (a real mommy's girl) and the world is still so much brighter with her in it. They just grow so fast. I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Happy Birthday my sweet Laynah!  I Love You!!

Feb. 23, 2007 at 2:34 PM Happy B-Day to her. Yes they do grow fast. I look at my son now and shake my head and smile in amazement. I can remember how I use to hold him and kiss him as well. Now he's a big boy and wants me to have another baby.

Feb. 26, 2007 at 10:50 AM Children are so precious, no matter what age they are.  My son is 21 months old and he is a mama's boy.  I almost cry every time I think of him getting older.  My daughter will be starting school this fall and I am so scared and anxious.  I don't know if I will be able to handle her first day.
