Wow. We had two wonderful Thanksgivings. The first one we went to was on Thursday at Ron's sister's house. She lives down by Monroe. I have to say that that was the most relaxing Thanksgiving that I have had in years. I didn't have to do anything. Ron made pumpkin pies to take with us, and we grabbed some rolls from the store. Everyone brought something to share and it was great. Ron's mom and Dad were there along with his Aunt Dorothy. His son Mitch even came with his girlfriend. Teresa's (Ron's sister) kids were all there (Brad + his girlfriend Geri and her daughter...Misty + her hubby and 2 kids...and Brianna). Teresa's boyfriend was there and we were there of course. So there weren't too many people...it was just right. We managed to get a few pictures. I'll have to upload them later.

The other Thanksgiving we celebrated was on Saturday at my brother's house in Brighton. My whole family made it there. There was my gang...my mom...my sister and her three kids...my brother and his girlfriend...and my brother (that we were at his house) and his son and his girlfriend. This one was a little more hectic. lol It's all my sister's fault. She is so tempermental. But that's a whole nother post in itself. I'll save that for another time. Let's just say that she tried to act like she was not having an attitude, but it was very obvious that she was. But we refused to play into it. We just ignored it. She went and took a nap and we had fun without her. lol But anyway...it was still a really good day. It wouldn't have been a family get-together if Rose hadn't been like that. lol Oh, we have a tradition...after we say the blessing, before we can eat, we all go around the circle and say what we're thankful for. When it was my turn I kinda wanted to cry, but I was strong...I held out. I just said something to the effect of: "I'm thankful for the fact that we've had a really great year. The kids and I are very happy and everything has just been falling into place for us lately. We're so happy...yada yada yada..." I didn't want to come right out and say "Ever since I met Ron..." lol But Ron had never done this before, so when it was his turn, he was just like, "...what she said..." lol My mom was like, "You can't say that! lol You have to say your own! lol" So he said something like, "Well, I'm thankful for Theresa and the kids. I'm really happy right now. Things are working out really well and I'm just happy for that. " lol It was so cute. :) But we had fun. I took a lot of pictures. We even had the neighbor come over and take a picture of all of us together. :) It was great. It didn't turn out really sharp, but you can still make everyone out and everything. So I took that picture and had Christmas cards made. (Whoever wants one better give me their address. lol) I didn't tell my mom yet, but I ordered a bunch of them for all of us to use. I'm going to send her some of them. I hope she likes them. :) Oh, I also made a photo album for my dad. I don't really know him. I've only seen him once in my adult life but we're trying to get back into each other's lives. So I made him a photo album of us and I think it turned out pretty good. I'm actually pretty proud of it. :) I'm really anxious to send it. But I'm kind of scared at the same time. I don't know why. It's weird. Anyway, I gotta go. Ron turned on the tv and I'm losing my concentration. lol But we really had a great holiday and I hope you all did too. I was very happy to see all of my family and I was glad that we could all get together. :) ttyl
