Big Day!

We got up early to go see Santa... Eliana was SOOO excited all through waiting in line, but she freaked as soon as I set her down, like I figured she would LOL oh well!  The boys had fun sitting and talking with Santa and she did talk to him a little bit so that was good.

Then we went shopping this afternoon, I was SOOO EXCITED to find the plates I need to make santa plates at the thrift store 4/$1 can't beat that!  Luckily I have the rest of the stuff I need to make them so that can be one of our projects for this year.  I've been looking at this coat for Eliana, one with the fake fur trim, I mainly wanted it for photographic purposes LOL but no way gonna spend the money one it, but had my thinking cap on today when we were at gordmans and I realised I had my camera with me so I had her try it on and snapped some pictures, think I got the one I want for in our Christmas card... we shall see!  We made our Christmas Count down chains today, we didnt take off the first link tho we will just do two tomorrow because it just got to being too late.  I of course am staying up late as usual, I just finished Eliana's Candy Cane tutu, that I want her to wear to take pictures of the three kids together, praying the boys' tux jackets still fit them from last year.  Been a long day and I think I hear my bed calling my name LOL

We did get the blizzard they said was comming, it's not THAT bad, LOL atleast we have SNOW now, I remember last year there being no snow for Christmas... it was so sad :(

Dec. 2, 2007 at 4:04 PM WE GOT BOMBARDED WITH ICEY SLEET. AND THEN I WAS LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW WHEN BAM! BIG BURST OF WHITE LIGHT, THEN ANOTHER, THEN ANOTHER, THEN NO POWER. SIXTEEN HOURS OF NO POWER. WE WENT TO WALMART AND GOT AN OIL LAMP AND SOME CANDLES TOO. CAME HOME AND HAD A SNACK AND WENT TO BED. GOT UP STILL NO POWER. COULDN'T WASH MY HAIR AS NO HAIR DRYER. UGGHHH. WENT TO THE BOOK STORE WHERE IT WAS WARM. THEN ON TO JCPENNY WHERE HUBBY DECIDED I HAD TO HAVE A DIAMOND RING. WELL WE GOT ONE FOR NINETY NINE BUCKS. ORIGINALLY 336. SO I AM PUTTING IT UNDER THE TREE. IT IS VERY PRETTY. I AM SO HAPPY. HOPE YOUR TUTU FOR ELIANA TURNS OUT GREAT. THAT WAS VERY CLEVER TO TRY THE COAT ON HER AND SNAP THE PICS. SMART LADY.
