Going Good...

So things around here are finally shaping up! We were trying to get a loan to pay off debt. The first appraiser came and did a "drive by" report of the house. It came in $12,000 less than we needed it to to be approved for the loan. Ridiculous! We had an appraisal done a couple years ago and the house came in higher then. I worked in a real estate office for 10 years and I knew something wasn't right! I called the bank and they set up another appraisal with another company. This time the appraiser would come in and do a full appraisal. Ends up that the number he put on the house is just perfect for us to be able to get the loan. Yay! So we were approved and went and signed the papers. The bills are being paid off and with the extra money I will Christmas shop. Granted, we'll be paying on the loan for quite some time but it feels good to have all that lifted off my chest. Blah, blah, blah, who cares!

On another good note, my hubby and I went out to dinner last night. It was the first time in soooo long. It felt good just to sit down and have a meal without being rushed and listening to whining. I needed it so badly. We had a great meal and just sat and talked. It was really nice.

So my birthday is on Tuesday!! This is even more exciting. My two sisters and my mom are taking me to see "Annie" at the Eisenhower Auditorium. I cannot tell you how excited I am. The movie has always been one of my favorites since I was little. Not only am I excited to see the show, I'm excited to spend some great time with my sisters and my mother. Should be a great day!!

Dec. 2, 2007 at 5:32 PM I am so happy things are working out for you finally.  I am sure that is a huge weight lifted.  It is also great that you got time with hubby and you get some quality time with family.  All is so important.  I am very happy you are feeling a little better.

CONGRATS on getting the loan....that does help take some of the burden off...jsut remember not to rack up the credit cards EVER again!!!  (a note from experience that is all!)

WOW< your bday is the same day as DH's....happy sagittarius bday!! enjoy Annie...i bet it will be so great!

That is very good news! I know from experience that takes a giant weight off your shoulders. What are you wishing for for your birthday?
