The Rules: Once you have been tagged you have to write a journal entry with 10 random things, facts, or habits about yourself. At the end, you choose new people to be tagged. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" on their profile and tell them to read your latest journal entry!

1) I have a serious sweet tooth. I mean an addiction. I cannot go two days with out chocolate with out thinking about it all the time. Its really sad.

2) I used to do acrobatics as a child. My mom had a friend who taught acrobatics at his house. Soon he moved to a gym and we did shows and the Renaissance fair and even my school. I eventually stopped because I had a friend who was at the same level as I. She had a bad fall during practice and I was to scared to continue. ( I'm a chicken I should have stayed)

3)My grandpa calls me Jaybird, because my name starts with a J and I eat like a bird.

4.) I have a little sister who is 7.

5)When I was a kid I wanted to be Indiana Jones when I grew up.

6) When I was in high school I made a bet with a friend that I would be living on a boat in Australia by the time of our reunion. ( needless to say I'm going to lose that bet)

7)I am living in the same house I grew up in. ( and I'm not living with my parents. I own it)

8) I like hard rock.  (not just the stuff on my play list) One of my favorites is System of a down. I was an avid concert goer (my hubbie says I was a groupie...  and he was in a band)

9)I have had an art piece win 1st prize in an art competition.

10) I will make this one a good one.  when I was in high-school (and for quite some time after) I was a big time rocker girl. I had my nose and belly button pierced. I had an eclectic style of hippie, punk, and goth wear. I would say mostly hippie. My mom said I was born in the wrong time period. I was part of a group  that hung out on a grassy patch at school the teachers referred to as little woodstock. I finally had to conform when I took a job at the bank as a teller. I would like to also min-chin that despite my look and the scene I was into I never did drugs or drinking ( I did start drinking in social  occasions after I graduated but I am/ was by no means a heavy drinker). all my friends were very respectful of my choices and some were even strait edge. So for all the parents out there dealing with teens with that look and scene: don't be so hard on them. You can't judge a book by its cover.

Astra...
What an awesome chick you are! You and I have lots in common. I too was an eclectic hippie chick in high school that didn't drink or do drugs, was an avid concert goer w/ a boyfriend in a rock band,  worked at the Rennaisance Faire as a dancer, like making art... Can't wait to get know you better! :)
