What are you suppost to give kids under 2 years of age for colds now since they took infant meds away? I don't know what to do for my daughter but try and suck all the stuff out of her nose. Any ideas on what to do?

There are a few things.

This is what I do:

Humidifiers help tremendously, especially while they sleep.

Baby Vicks on the back and chest

Saline soulution for the nose

Lots of liquids

Pedialite popsicles and juice

Dec. 3, 2007 at 2:31 PM My son just got sick and the docter told me to get him the childrens cold and cough, or sinus, or whatever lines up to the symptoms and give the amount you would if You were to give him infants tylenol. for my son he is 6 month but over 20 lbs so he gets just under 2 0.8 doses. this is safe to do and the hospital said the same thing. just make sure you only give your child the amount you would give them for the infants tylenol and it will not hurt him.

Yes, hconte it can hurt the baby. It can KILL the baby.

Please listen to the FDA, they know what they are doing when they recall drugs.

GO AND GET HER SOME MUSINX FOR KIDS... MY MOM GOT IT FOR EMERALD AND IT SEEMS TO HELP... DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH SHE WEIGHS JUST GIVE HER 1ML AND IF IT DOESN'T HELP IN LIKE AN HOUR OR SO TRY GIVEING HER ANOTHER HALF A ML.! i KNOW IT'S OK BECAUSE I JUST TOOK HER TO THE DR THIS MORNING CAUSE SHE HAS A COLD AND A RASH AND THE DR ASKED ME WHAT I WAS USING...I TOLD HER A LITTLE OF MUSINX AND SHE SAID OK THAT IT WAS OK TO USE IT.
