CLEANING HOUSE

SO I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN KEEP THERE HOUSE 100% CLEAN. i CAN NOT SEEM TO DO IT. EVERY TIME i GET IT PRETTY CLEAN BY THE NEXT DAY OR SO ITS A BIG MESS AGAIN. IF YOU CAN PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW!!

I think you would have to tie them up in order for your house to be clean for more then 10 minutes. As fast as I can put stuff away or clean something up, somebody is behind me dragging it back out or dumping something on the floor that will require a vacuum/broom or mop to fix.

the only thing I can get entirely clean are the bathrooms and that is because I shut the doors behind me to keep the little ones out. Then that only lasts until somebody bigger goes in to use it!

The kitchen is so-so. I can get most of the dishes cleaned up but the floor is another story. I'm either cleaning up food or scooping up random toys every time I walk out there.

My sons room is pretty clean for the most part (but yet again he keeps the door shut most of the time so no little ones get in and create a mess) It does need to be dusted way more often then I can get to it though.

So for the most part if somebody can manage to keep their house really clean all the time with small children about they are either lying or they only have one kid.

Actually, its not the kids (son and nephew when he's here) that make the house messy, it is mostly when my DH is home and I can't clean with him here. He's been unemployed for FIVE months now... My house is a wreck.... HEEEEEELLLLLLLPPP!! hehehehe

I have tried FlyLady too.... I love the routines, but with DH here it is hard to follow them, because he thinks that if you are going to clean, you need to do it ALL at ONCE, not little bits at a time.  Therefore, I just can't get it done with him here.

Dec. 4, 2007 at 6:04 PM My house is clean, my bathroom and kitchen get cleaned daily. Laundry is done 2-3 times a week, and I sweep and mop every other day. Before I do anything (including going to the restroom) my bed gets made. My husband plays with our son while I shower, by the time I'm done getting ready it's time for him to go to work and I get my son ready for the day. SInce we've been married the only time my house isn't clean is when we first get back from out of town. Good luck!
